Chabot College 2015-2016 application

Hi, everyone!

Has anyone heard anything from Chabot regarding acceptance letters/emails? I decided to start this thread so we can keep each other informed.

Congratulations!! How wonderful!! At least you know you will be in school by spring no matter what. Right now this is the only nursing program that I'm close to acceptance, so it will be a whole year if I don't get in to Chabot. I'm trying to be optimistic and realistic at the same time-it's tough!

I think it's really nice that other nursing students are so supportive about those of us who are still waiting...it's clear to me that the right people want to be nurses!!

I just got my acceptance for usf too!! I'm already committed to chabot though and I'm glad about that decision.

Hi Everyone!! I just got the call...I have been accepted to Chabot!!! I am alternate #20, so fingers crossed there will be more spots opening up as the Fall semester approaches. Hang in there, I never thought I would get a call and I did!!

Yes! A lot of people went to the first one (after talking at the bls class) but I'm going to the one on tues. then everyone will be there aug 6!

Can you all post up your stats so we can see what the competition is like? Overall GPA, Science GPA, and TEAS Score? Please.

teas- they took my first score 84

I am currently in the program. I can give you a lot of info if you're interested. I did hear admissions is a bit different. They are now taking the top 20% and making it a lottery. The top 20% of our class had pretty low gpas and teas so I wouldn't be worried. I believe 405 people applied for 40 spots this year. They took 20 off the wait list and we have already lost 12 and the first semester isn't over. If you want info pm me. Good luck

Hi sorry to bother you but I was curious what tour criterion score was before and after teas was added ? I'm planning to apply this spring and attend the Dec 8th orientation and wanted to know what my chances were. Thanks
