Hi Everyone!! I just got the call...I have been accepted to Chabot!!! I am alternate #20, so fingers crossed there will be more spots opening up as the Fall semester approaches. Hang in there, I never thought I would get a call and I did!!

Congratulations!! How wonderful!! At least you know you will be in school by spring no matter what. Right now this is the only nursing program that I'm close to acceptance, so it will be a whole year if I don't get in to Chabot. I'm trying to be optimistic and realistic at the same time-it's tough! I think it's really nice that other nursing students are so supportive about those of us who are still waiting...it's clear to me that the right people want to be nurses!!

So nice of you to ask...no word yet. My fingers are crossed-they are all the way through 18 alternates, so hopefully a few more spots will open up in July. If I hear from them, I will post ASAP- I know all of us on the alternate list are very anxious.

Hey everyone! Any alternates out there who have gotten a spot at LMC? I am one of the alternates (unfortunately at the bottom of the list,) but I was wondering if there has been any movement.

Do you mean they have a spot for number 19 or the next will be 19? I hate to be such a tool, I'm just really anxious. Thanks for your post-I think it's nice of you to update those of us waiting to get a call. BTW, were you at orientation today? How was it?

So encouraging...thanks guys! Maybe tomorrow after the orientation I will either call or email Catherine and see where things stand. Waiting is so tough!!

Hey everyone! Any info from Chabot? I have contemplated calling the nursing department to see what number they are on, but I'm not sure it's a good idea-I don't want to be a pest.
