  1. Oh ive heard many wonderful things about the angwin campus and their nursing program in general. Ive heard that the program is great and that they have a high passing rate as far as the NCLEX passing rates. Good luck to you as well.
  2. Hello ZhemingCao, I applied a year ago to the 2016 lvn-rn program. I start in January 2016 at the Napa campus. It took a few month to hear back from the school, atleast 4 months which almost killed me. Hopefully you hear back from them a lot sooner then I did. Which campus are you applying to? The Angwin campus or the Napa campus?
  3. Hey Sylvia, are you ready for orientation in October? Im soooooo excited to hear what they have to say. Have you completed your financial aide yet? Im currently applying for scholarships to help me pay for books, I heard the books cost $1,100 approx and that we will pay this during orientation.
  4. Hello FTRRNKT, I had to take the TEAS test twice. The first time I bombed it and the second time I got a 72% which is so much better then what i got on the first TEAS test. My gpa overall was a 3.3. So I guess your nursing advisor is accurate with the students that the program has accepted. With my pre reqs I receieved A's and B's. Hopefully you get in, I cant wait to start. Orientation starts in October so I look forward to what they will inform us on. Good luck to you!
  5. Hey Sylvia. I totally understand where your coming from regarding the finacial aide aspect. I submitted my FAFSA back in March of this year and so far I havent been fortunate enought to recieve any financial assistance. Im searching for scholarships and grants but so far havent had much luck. Anywho, I look forward to meeting you. Maybe we can become study partners eventually, if you live close, (I live in Fairfield).
  6. Hello my fellow classmate S_H318.:) My name is Ashli what is your name? Im so excited that we got in. Im also nervous as well. Do you happen to know anybody who attended PUC before? January will be here so fast so im taking the time to brush up on my nursing material.
  7. Anybody else get accepted into Pacific Union College that is starting in January 2016. I received my letter last friday and couldnt be happier. :)
  8. Thank you sooo much Tsuki for your encouraging words. I truly appreciate it. The nursing programs and extremely impacted its very difficult to get in these days, unless I go to a private school and pay a million dollars just for my associates in nursing. But I will definietly keep the hope alive. Thanks again and best of luck to you in your nursing adventure.
  9. Unfortunately evy2015 I did not get accepted. And the dissapointing part is that another school that I applied too also denied me so last friday was a very dissapointing day. But...on the bright side I still have two other schools PUC and Modesto that I am waiting to hear back from so please say a prayer that at least one of them accepts me. Did you get in at anywhere?
  10. Thank you both Wile E Coyote and Red Kryptonite for your helpful informations, I really appreciate it.
  11. Hello Red Kryptonite, I had a quick question. So I too am an LPN and wanting to transition into the RN program My questions is with Arizona state, is there RN program strictly online or would you have to go to the campus to do your program. I may be interested in the RN program at AZU
  12. So far GigiNewb Im just checking out potential RN-BSN programs that I could enroll into once I have completed my ADN program. So far I hear great reviews about WGU and Sonoma State RN-BSN program. Im glad to hear that you are so far liking your program, and knowing that its self paced classes makes a big difference. Good luck to you!
  13. Hello GigiNewb, how are you liking the RN-BSN program so far?
  14. I know right! Well starting today we are just going to start having wishful thinking and speak it into existence that not only will both of our names be on that "qualified selection list" but our names/number will also be choosen in the lottery. Were gonna make it....
  15. Thank you ligriffin for sharing the information with me. It appears to me that on May 15th the applicants that are qualified to be in the lottery selection will be announced on that day. Then on May 28th the lottery will take place. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for both of us! Who knows, maybe you and I will be classmates :)
