  1. Oh ive heard many wonderful things about the angwin campus and their nursing program in general. Ive heard that the program is great and that they have a high passing rate as far as the NCLEX passing rates. Good luck to you as well.
  2. Hello ZhemingCao, I applied a year ago to the 2016 lvn-rn program. I start in January 2016 at the Napa campus. It took a few month to hear back from the school, atleast 4 months which almost killed me. Hopefully you hear back from them a lot sooner then I did. Which campus are you applying to? The Angwin campus or the Napa campus?
  3. Hey Sylvia, are you ready for orientation in October? Im soooooo excited to hear what they have to say. Have you completed your financial aide yet? Im currently applying for scholarships to help me pay for books, I heard the books cost $1,100 approx and that we will pay this during orientation.
  4. Hello FTRRNKT, I had to take the TEAS test twice. The first time I bombed it and the second time I got a 72% which is so much better then what i got on the first TEAS test. My gpa overall was a 3.3. So I guess your nursing advisor is accurate with the students that the program has accepted. With my pre reqs I receieved A's and B's. Hopefully you get in, I cant wait to start. Orientation starts in October so I look forward to what they will inform us on. Good luck to you!
  5. Hey Sylvia. I totally understand where your coming from regarding the finacial aide aspect. I submitted my FAFSA back in March of this year and so far I havent been fortunate enought to recieve any financial assistance. Im searching for scholarships and grants but so far havent had much luck. Anywho, I look forward to meeting you. Maybe we can become study partners eventually, if you live close, (I live in Fairfield).
  6. Hello my fellow classmate S_H318.:) My name is Ashli what is your name? Im so excited that we got in. Im also nervous as well. Do you happen to know anybody who attended PUC before? January will be here so fast so im taking the time to brush up on my nursing material.
  7. Anybody else get accepted into Pacific Union College that is starting in January 2016. I received my letter last friday and couldnt be happier. :)
  8. Thank you sooo much Tsuki for your encouraging words. I truly appreciate it. The nursing programs and extremely impacted its very difficult to get in these days, unless I go to a private school and pay a million dollars just for my associates in nursing. But I will definietly keep the hope alive. Thanks again and best of luck to you in your nursing adventure.
  9. Unfortunately evy2015 I did not get accepted. And the dissapointing part is that another school that I applied too also denied me so last friday was a very dissapointing day. But...on the bright side I still have two other schools PUC and Modesto that I am waiting to hear back from so please say a prayer that at least one of them accepts me. Did you get in at anywhere?
  10. Thank you both Wile E Coyote and Red Kryptonite for your helpful informations, I really appreciate it.
  11. Hello Red Kryptonite, I had a quick question. So I too am an LPN and wanting to transition into the RN program My questions is with Arizona state, is there RN program strictly online or would you have to go to the campus to do your program. I may be interested in the RN program at AZU
  12. So far GigiNewb Im just checking out potential RN-BSN programs that I could enroll into once I have completed my ADN program. So far I hear great reviews about WGU and Sonoma State RN-BSN program. Im glad to hear that you are so far liking your program, and knowing that its self paced classes makes a big difference. Good luck to you!
  13. Hello GigiNewb, how are you liking the RN-BSN program so far?
  14. I know right! Well starting today we are just going to start having wishful thinking and speak it into existence that not only will both of our names be on that "qualified selection list" but our names/number will also be choosen in the lottery. Were gonna make it....
  15. Thank you ligriffin for sharing the information with me. It appears to me that on May 15th the applicants that are qualified to be in the lottery selection will be announced on that day. Then on May 28th the lottery will take place. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for both of us! Who knows, maybe you and I will be classmates :)
  16. ligriffin, I didnt even notice the qualified applicants list or the date of the random selection process. Guess I need to go back online to do some re-reading. But thats an excellent question that I too would like to know. I hope we hear something by the 15th, that would just make my month that much greater. Where eles have you applied?
  17. Hello everyone, How is everyone liking their ADN program so far? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also if you could also state whether you are working while in school or not. Thank you all
  18. I know Pacific Union College accepts online science pre-reqs and Los Medanos College accepts them as well. I have applied to them both, right now im awaiting to hear if I have been accepted or not.
  19. Hello viperblue72, WOW!!!! you completed 39 credits in 55 days??? Thats incredible. how are you liking the Westerns Governors school so far? Have you finished? Is the course work fairly difficult? Im thinking of going to this school once I graduate with my RN degree.
  20. Good Luck to you at Contra Costa College Mchs4735. Im sure you will do extremely well....If you do happen to hear from Los Medanos (even though your not going there), can you let me know please? Thanks a bunch!
  21. Thank You so much for responding. When did Los Medanos inform you that you were accepted? Did you apply for their Fall 2015 program or Spring 2015? Gosh I hope I hear from them soon. The wait is always the hardest part. Good luck to you on being accepted. Thats the hardest part is getting into a program, especially since northern Cali schools have become so impacted. When do you start your program?
  22. Hey Jesslb44, just wanted to see how you are liking the program so far. I re-applied to the program and will hear whether or not I am accepted in June of this year. Im so nervous. Im hoping I get in. Are you still able to work during the program? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch
  23. Some schools in California DO accept online science classes while some don not. So far I have applied to 4 RN schools and they all accepted my online science classes. Just gotta do research and check with your schools.
  24. I live in Cali and took my Micro class through Trident University. They have flexible payment plans and was a pretty easy online science class. check them out.
  25. Anybody apply yet to Pacific Union College (PUC) LVN-RN program for theire 2016 starting class? I was told they will notify students in late June regarding acceptance or denials....June cant come any sooner.
