CGFNS while waiting for AOS, EAD & AP

Hi everyone! I'm hoping I posted on the right forum. I'm new here :shy: I would like to ask some questions regarding CGFNS. I arrived here in Louisiana through K1 or Fiance Visa, married 2 months ago. We are currently processing Adjustment of Status and Work Permit which will take 4-6 months. I am a registered nurse in the Philippines. Louisiana State BON requires me to have my CGFNS as well as my current Philippine RN license. My question is, is it okay to take CGFNS while waiting? I dont want to waste my time at home while hubby is at work. I have been self-reviewing and preparing for NCLEX and I just found out that I have to take CGFNS before they qualify me to take NCLEX. I have all my documents with me and my valid IELTS results. I have also SSN if that helps.
