cgfns vs. nclex

hi! i just graduated last march 2006 n took the local board last decmber of the same year. Im planning to go to US but i don't know what to do next. my parents n other relatives in US wants me to take all the exam (cgfns, nclex, ielts) but there are also some who advise me to take nclex n ielts lang. what do you think is best for me.....do i need to take both cgfns & nclex exam or nclex alone will do??? thanx for ur advise.

Hello,no need for you take the cgfns exam. Other states now no longer require CGFNS. In my case I only took NCLEX and IELTS and working on my papers now. After passing the NCLEX,you can apply for Visascreen and you will be given CGFNS #. But if you want to take all,it's your own option,but it's not a must to take cgfns now. Goodluck.

Yap!!i agree with fluppypacky.No need for you to take the cgfns.but ders no exemption in taking the english exam.I suggest that u work on it first then while processing ur papers,you review for the nclex exam.Hope ds helps....Goodluck!!!!!!!!!!
