Hello I did my Pcl nursing from Nepal and moved to USA and did my nclexRN from kansas state and passed it and now i moved to louisiana state so for endorsement of my license i need cgfns visa screen to be done and as i did that it says:
After a review of your education from TRIBHUVAN UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF MEDICINE, BIRATNAGAR , it was determined that your education does not currently meet the requirements of the program.
Not comparable program in the United States as the
applicant completed a total of thirteen years of primary,
secondary and nursing education. However, the
professional qualification that this program leads to is that
of a first-level general registered nurse in Nepal.
If you wish to continue to pursue CGFNS/ICHP VisaScreen® certification, you must fulfill the educational requirement by obtaining further education . In order to fulfill this requirement, please read the enclosed notice titled Steps to Completing the CGFNS Education Requirement.
what am i supposed to do now...please help....

hello Ashish ji,
Thank you for a quick response. I am asking you just to be sure.
When we apply for Visa screen do they take data from our cgfns profile?
does the visascreen form also include sections where we fill out our complete school information?
They don't ask for other documents like character certificate or certificate regarding change of school or others when we do visa screen?
Can I mention the name of previous school from grade 1 and 2 , even though I have no documents and the school no longer exists?
I am really confused .
What ever you have mentioned while applying for CES that will be carried forward to visa screen as well hence you won't be required to submit your licence verification and education verification again in visa screening however they will again make you enter all the information while applying for visa screen so make sure your information is consistent in . it is not necessary to mention the primary school change even if you mention it that is OK because the requirement will be to send SLc certificate and you can send it on your own unlike your nursing credential. Yes they take all the information from your profile so make sure that it is accurate specially your name dob and such.

So, should I make 2 entries , I mean mention both schools in the 'primary and lower secondary section' of the form or just mention only 1 school and fake the dates I.e fill the form as if I completed 10 years schooling from one school only.
if I mention both schools , I am scared that they might ask for some kind of completion certificate from the previous school also or something like that? Do you have any idea on this?
Just now, Aashish Dhakal said:Ya it is not a big deal as long as you submit the SlC certificate so I were you I would basically make it look like I studied in the same school for 10 years but with nursing schools be very very carefull
Thank you so much Aashish ji. you are a godsend.
I was really stuck at this point for so long.
Can I email you if I have any further queries?
Thanks again.
Hi all,
Thanks for a lot of valuable informations.
If it has been more than ten years since the completion of your secondary school education, this requirement is waived.
