We do ask that members do not post review center details but use the pm system.

Most just use the CGFNS booklet.

Forgive me for not being familiar with the site short hand, but what is the "pm system."

pm is private message and to be able to send you need 15 posts but people can send messages to you which you can read just not answer until 15 posts

Not sure why you are wanting to write the CGFNS exam, it is only required by about four states in the US. The NCLEX-RN exam is offered in Mexico City and is the only exam that will provide a license for the US.

Recommend that you read the Primer at the top of this forum. Passing of the NCLEX-RN exam is needed to be able to get the NAFTA TN Visa.

you assume too much, who said that i wanted to write the cgfns exam? i said, "does anyone know of any cgfns review centers in mexico?"

but i will expand the question to, "does anyone know of any cgfns, ielts - other that international house - or nclex review centers in mexico. mexico city, df, monterrey or acupulco would be nice.

I never assume anything.

Preparation for the CGFNS exam is quite different from the NCLEX exam. You made no mention of the other exams when you posted. We never assume anything here. I no longer prepare anyone for the CGFNS as most do not take it any longer.

In the future, please place all of the requirements in the one post if you wish the most accurate answer, it makes it easier on everyone around. And in healthcare, one never should assume anything; if it is not stated, or written; then it did not happen. You came here asking for help so it would be nice to have all of the information that one is looking for in the first place, rather than little bits at a time.

Would recommend that you check out the NCLEX Forum that you can find under the student tab for tips in passing the NCLEX exam. No real reason to attend a review program there to pass the exam, it can be done on your own.

As far as English exams, I usually recommend a program that can be done on the computer, it is out of Australia but they do one of the best jobs that I have seen with getting someone thru the exam the first time. Their site is called www.scottsenglish.com.

Most important factor in selecting a review center for English is that the instructors must be native born to have the best chance of passing.

You stated CGFNS review centers well that indicates CGFNS exam as everything else they do is review or collection of documents (CVS for NY). We offer advice on what is written, if you put all in the first post then advice will be given accordingly.

Again, you are assuming I want to sit for CGFNS. I just want to know where the review centers are in Mexico.

This is something that you will need to look up on your own. You can easily do a search on the internet to find a review center for it. But again, the exam is really of no value for a school or review center to be putting on since it is not needed. The exam is not used much more in the US, most of us pay no attention to what is being done with it or preparation for it as it will not get one a license for the US.

Also be aware of the fact that we do not permit contact information to be posted here concerning review centers, etc. Specific addresses and phone numbers will need to be looked up.

There really is no reason whatsoever to sit for that exam if it not needed. It is only offered a couple of times per year so that delays all that wish to work in the US. The TN Visa requires the actual NCLEX-RN to be passed.

The US is under a retrogression at this time, so the green card application will not do anything that will matter at this time. If you hold a passport from Mexico, then you would qualify for the TN Visa, but would have to meet the specific requirements for that.

Again, we never assume. We only answer what is being asked when we are provided adequate information in the first place.

Perhaps it would be beneficial if you would explain what you are trying to do since you are insisting that you do not wish to write that exam, but yet are still looking for a review center there.
