CGFN form: Australian RN

Hello, my fellow Australian Nurses!

I recently submitted the "Record of academic transcript" CGFNS form to TAFE NSW where I did my Diploma of Nursing but they stated that they won't fill out the form unless it comes from CGFNS. I am pretty sure CGFNS won't send the email to fill out the form.

Any insights on what can I do? I emailed CGFNS but haven't heard anything back. My university where I completed my Bachelor of Nursing is happy to do it and processing so I don't get why TAFE is declining it??

Hey guys,

I have a question about transcripts. Do yours transcripts show all of your clinical placements (gynaecology, medical, neuro etc.) as well as theory modules covered at university.

My transcript doesn't list my placements, it just simply says 'Practical component - Pass'.

Is it enough for my university to just fill out the form provided by CGFNS specifying the hours in each box provided?

Hey Sarah,

Mine shows "Clinical integration: Acute care" for Sem 1, " Clinical integration: Mental health" for Sem 2, "Clinical integration: complex care" for Sem 3 and "Clinical integration: speciality practice". Hope this helps.

Hi Sammy, thank you for your response! Okay thank you and they didn't ask for physical proof on the official school transcript of each placement area you completed?

I am Texas and NYS licensed. You go through NYS first then apply to Texas. No extra obgyn/peds req.

Hi everyone, 

I would like to enquire about Ahpra application. Currently I am working in Singapore as a registered nurse with 10 years of experiences. I would like to work in Australia and now start preparing for my papers. According to Ahpra, I am under Stream A candidate. I am following the instructions. Most of my friends apply CGFNS then change to Ahpra. May I know why did not apply to Ahpra directly.
