This may be silly to ask, but does Massachusetts require any continuuing education credits when you renew your license?
I'm a new RN, and haven't heard anything about this here. Does this requirement vary by state?

Yes it varies state to state and in MA it is 15 CEU's and they can all be correspondent courses.

As Esme said, 15 CEUs q 2 yrs but you don't need any the first time you renew your license.

Just as a heads up, go to nurse.com. If you pay $40 (i think) you can get unlimited CEs that are one credit for a year. I have done that and will continue to do so. They have a good selection on several different topics/specialties
