I was doing a search to find out if anyone knows a program where Disease Management Nurses can be certified. I have been looking for days.
Anyone know a program of that nature?

Hello, renerian,
You might try here. I'm not sure if it is for individuals or organizations, but you might receive info that could point you in the right direction.

Siri thanks for the link. I am used to , JCAHO regs but the NCQA regs are a new ballgame for me.
you are very welcome, renerian. let me know if the info you receive helps.
Thank you. I was hoping there would be something similar to the Case Management Certification. I am guessing someone is working on one somewhere since DM is growing in popularity.

There is a DM certification called the CCP-Chronic Care Professional certification. You can go to the www.healthsciences.org wesbite and learn about it there. I am completing it now and it is a very in depth and thorough program. I really like the eLearning site that you have access to with the manual and I can use the manual at work. Let me know if you have any more questions and maybe I can help you with them.
Have a great day.
The only accredited one is the Chronic Care Professional certification at www.healthsciences.org.
I recently completed this program and it was extremely benefical. Great content and which I can apply each day at work. I wish I would have completed this when I started in DM over 4 years ago. Better than the training I got with my employer which is a very big DM company. I would highly recommend completing this program.
