That is something you need to ask your employer. None of us know what they will and won't give you. As for using it as a reference, that would depend on what you were applying for and if the place you are applying to accepts it as experience.

If ever im going to use it as a reference abroad, how will they verify its legitimacy?

Pesos....are you in Mexico?

If you are wondering how a US employer could verify the legitimacy of Mexican employment, that's a good question, but not one that anyone but the employer is likely to be able to answer for you.

I have no idea what you mean by one year of employment as a "clinic nurse/ doctor secretary". Are you a nurse, working in a medical clinic? Are you a secretary in a medical clinic, but hold no license?

If a nurse, are you looking into applying for RN licensure, taking the NCLEX in a US State and applying for a VISA to work here? I think that'd be a bigger hurdle for you, honestly, than whether or not a potential employer believes your work history.

I've seen a variety of ways that employers verify employment. Sometimes they will call the office directly, sometimes they mail them a verification form to fill out, and some employers use internet programs for employment verification. It will all just depend on the place you apply to.
