Cerritos College RN program - Fall 2025 / Spring 2026 admission

Hi, is anyone applying to the RN program at Cerritos College in California for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. If so how many points do you have?

Hi there, 

I was accepted as an alternate student as well. 

My science GPA is 4.0; Overall GPA is 3.16; TEAS is 92%; No degree; worked as a coordinator in oncology for years. I believe my total points were 66 - I was not really expecting any form of acceptances here to be honest haha.

Hi! I was also accepted as an alternate and hoping it will be like previous years. I had a 3.36 GPA both in the sciences and in my overall. Previous bachelor's degree. 89% on the TEAS. Second language and the life circumstances. Some additional courses. I got 61 points and also did not expect to get anything. Application seasons are tough and I've definitely had my fair share of rejections as my stats feel mid tier compared to others.

By reading at the comments my total points were lower than some of you so, I got no doubt that I got accepted by the grace of God was it by points or lottery? Might never know but I'm in that's all that matters to me 🙂. Alternatives are very likely to get into the program since some students declined either their acceptance or alternative offer.

I initially got the conflicting letter response but after 20 minutes received the corrected letter that I am accepted. I immediately confirmed. Good luck to everyone who got the alternate status

I let them know that my name can be removed since I got into a program closer to home! So someone will get my spot❤️

For those of you who got into the program and accepted admission, when do we send in official transcripts or scores? Has anyone received a follow-up email? I'm thinking of submitting them now but I'm not sure if I should wait for them to request it.

Hi I think it depends on the school that you were accepted to some require official transcripts to be submitted along with the application others will request them only if you get accepted. I have not gotten any other email besides the acceptance email.

Only got an email that they received my admission acceptance page after submitting it.
