Cerritos College Fall 2022

I haven't seen a forum for the Cerritos College Fall 2022 ADN cohort yet, so I decided to create one! Good luck to everyone that applied!

I took it in December so I should be good.

For those of you who got accepted or who got chosen as an alternative, what were your points?

I was accepted for Fall and I think I had 80 points total

I got accepted for Spring 23, too. My TEAS was from 2019 and the nursing office said it was OK.

Does anyone know how alternates work at Cerritos College? Do they tell us the number we are on the list? Also, do we do the orientation and onboarding and buy all the supplies etc. and attend class first day of school until a certain point until somebody drops? Or is it like, you find out if you’re in or not before the first day of school? I’m trying to get an idea of how to plan out my fall but I can’t find a lot of info about alternates. I was an alternate at CSUF but they just said they would tell you by the end of June if you made it and they did send an email end of June. They didn’t ask alternates to do orientation etc., which makes me think that Cerritos College alternates are more likely to get in, since they do require orientation etc.? Any insight? Thanks ?
