Cerritos College Fall 2022

Hey all,

I haven't seen a forum for the Cerritos College Fall 2022 ADN cohort yet, so I decided to create one! Good luck to everyone that applied!

I called on Monday when we didn't receive anything and they told me we would know by Wednesday. I called again today and they said by the end of the week. I don't know about everyone else but the way they are pushing these dates and not communicating is giving me second thoughts about the program as a whole... If I remember correctly, I called at the end of April to find out when decisions would be made and they told me end of May/first week of June.

I don’t want to be too critical of the process because changing dates seems to be the modus operandi for a lot of nursing schools. Having said that, I’m disappointed that they couldn’t deliver the news sooner. I’ve been checking the website, my email, and this thread daily since Friday. I hope I win the lottery because I definitely don’t have that many points. I finished my AS in Biological Sciences, obtained my CNA, and began working at an assisted living facility after the application deadline. If I’m not selected this time around I’ll be applying everywhere again this fall, ugh, I’m exhausted.

I just got accepted for Spring 2023! For those of you that got accepted, got a question...we don't need to TEAS exam part if we already took it right? I just need to fill out the top portion and sign for that page?

Correct, no need to RSVP for TEAS if you have already taken it and passed with satisfactory score; however, I would double check on the recency requirements. I took the TEAS back in February, so should be good to go.
