I received an email at 10am yesterday saying I have been accepted as an alternate. My friend in the program said that last year they were an alternate and all of the alternates got in. I am extremely hopeful that it will be a similar case this year but I am still anxious. I am wondering if we have numbers or ranks and if I call they will let me know what spot I am in. Has anyone checked in on this?

I am also an alternate but I haven't called to see how the alternates work and how they go about filling in spots. I'm curious about this too.

I called the school today and they told me that decisions would be rolling out within the next two weeks.

Thanks for letting us know. But I wonder if they mean the denial letters? Or are they still sending out acceptance letters. 😟

I had 86 points so I hope I don't get rejected 😞

How I interpret that call is:

It could be either.  Those who got accepted have to reply by May 1st (by 12:00pm) to attest that they will attend the program for Fall 2024 or Spring 2025.  Candidates are probably waiting to hear back from other schools so between now and May 1st, they'll probably hear back from their preferred school, and may accept that offer instead, which will free up the space available for alternates.  Hope that makes sense.

I had 80 points and was accepted, I think you'll get your acceptance letter soon since it seems like they are sending it in waves.
