I am starting to wonder if maybe they are waiting to see who accepts their offers before rolling out more acceptance, denials, and/or alternate spots.

That's what I am thinking as well.

Perhaps this is how they will determine what Alternates will get into what term. There has to be some sort of method going on and I feel it has to correlate with their half points half lottery method.

Hey guys for the people who are already in the program..How many days in the week do you guys go for LEC and LAB? And how many hours is it? And how many hours it for Clinicals as well?

I think someone has mentioned already but beginning Fall 2024, the ENTIRE curriculum is changed. So you guys being the first of this new curriculum, it will be very hard for any of us to give you a "what it will be like." For us, each 18 week semester is is split into two terms of 9 weeks.

For our first 9 weeks: Fundamentals- we were in school Monday - Friday. We start at 8AM daily. Mondays and Thursdays were lecture that ended by 11A. Fridays were independent lab done by 11A as well. And clinical lab were on tuesdays and wednesdays, done by 2pm. Clinical lab was only for 5 weeks (to learn the skills), the last 4 weeks were actual clinicals at a nursing home (to apply the skills).

For our second 9 weeks: Med-Surg 1 - clinicals at a hospital for 12 hours a day/one day per week. In person lecture once a week for 3 hours. And independent lab on fridays for 3 hours. (there is a lot less in person time for med-surg 1, because the content materials get difficult = require more studying)

For the new curriculum (I got this from your application webpage):

ADN 210 – Foundational Concepts (12 weeks)

ADN 215 – Healthcare Participant (6 weeks)

The time length of your classes are not the same as ours, even the name of the classes are not the same, therefore it's hard to give any info on how your schedule will be like.

I missed to add- we had pharmacology for the last 6 weeks at the same time as med-surg 1. And you guys have it for 9 weeks. We had a a quiz for that every week and a final.

Is there a group chat for the upcoming Fall 2024 cohort? Someone should make one.

Mhmm OK so do you feel like it's going to be less days of lab and lec in-person as well for the new cohort. Because I just heard that someone said that you guys are going to start doing hybrid classes for the fall term?

Sorry I truly am clueless about what is happening for the new curriculum. I can only speak about my experience. I may not answer for a while since I'm going to mute notifs to study LOL. I'll try to hop back in after finals to answer any questions that I can answer. Good luck everyone!!
