Hi. I just took the Teas exam about a week and a half ago and am going to be submitting an application for the nursing program soon. Anyone else applying for fall 2018? Just curious to see who else is out there.
So I was wait listed at Century... Talked to an advisor, the lowest score to get in was 11.67. My score was 11.66 ugh!! Hopefully it won't be a long wait! Congrats everyone that got in!
It won't last too long. I have 2 friends refuse their slots at Century. Deadline to response is on April 1st, I think you will receive a letter 2-3 weeks later.
Update: I was accepted to Century with a 12.2 and NHCC with an 11.4! My letters came yesterday late afternoon. I am still deciding which school to attend. For those who applied to NHCC, my letter was dated on Friday, March 16th so it seems NHCC sent their letter a day after the 15th. Century mailed their letters on the 15th. For those who still haven't received their letter yet: Century's orientation is on July 24th from 8am-4pm and NHCC gives you two options for orientation: April 24th or April 25th from 4pm-5:30pm. Best of luck to everyone!
I live in Mpls and am just starting to take prerequisites at Century for the nursing program. Can someone please tell me how the MANE program works? I do not fully understand it and none of the admissions counselors have explained it to me. I have been frustrated that each of the schools seem to have different prerequisites, yet applying to all of the area nursing programs within the MNSCU system seems necessary. How are you all managing this without overtaking classes?!
Thank you!
