Hi. I just took the Teas exam about a week and a half ago and am going to be submitting an application for the nursing program soon. Anyone else applying for fall 2018? Just curious to see who else is out there.

I am! I just sent my application in this week. I took the teas earlier this month. I'm already nervous for March!

Ooooo, is this the Century College in Minnesota? If so... Well, I'm still working on my pre-reqs at Normandale, but because of the MANE curriculum, I will be applying to several of the nursing schools in the area. I won't be applying until January 2019. Century College is a really beautiful campus and isn't far from Bloomington, so I definitely wouldn't mind going there... Although I think I heard it's a pretty tough program to get into?
If you don't mind me asking, what's your TEAS score and GPA? I'm trying to get a good idea of the average grades/scores of people getting into nursing school in this state. I did some practice TEAS tests, and I quickly realized I still had a lot to study in the English Grammar and Reading sections after having thought that I would easily make a 90 or above in those areas.
Yes, this is the Century College in White Bear Lake, MN. I got an 85.3% on my TEAS and I think my GPA is a 3.75. I hope to hear from others too. It might make the waiting just a little bit easier.

I'm not applying to Century, but I am applying to Inver Hills which is part of the same curriculum!
There are a couple different threads going on for the fall 2018 MANE applicants; based on those and on previous threads (from previous application cycles) I think a composite score of around 12 seems to be the average for accepted students (although I've seen much higher and much lower scores say they got accepted). Beyond that, it seems like Century is the hardest of the MANE schools to get into, with Normandale right behind it, as they both get the most applicants.
Regardless, I'm applying to Inver Hills with a composite score of 12.08, and I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I'm pretty comfortable with that score. I also got to speak with the head of the nursing admissions team (I dropped off my application in person this morning), and she said that I'd get an email in a couple weeks verifying that my application had everything it needed and would be included in the selection process.
Good luck to everyone!

I sent in my application for Century and Inver Hills couple months ago. My composite score is 12 for both schools. My GPA is 4.0 and TEAS score is 80. It is not great but I feel comfortable about my composite score. A Century college nursing advisor told me that students with composite scores higher than 11.5 will definitely be selected.

Hey everyone! I also applied for Fall 2018 at Century College. I have a 4.0 and a 80 on my Teas. Definitely nervous, but the admissions person said that anything over an 11.5 has a pretty good chance.
Hello all! I just wanted to share that I've officially accepted a seat in Concordia - Saint Paul's BSN program, and will be starting that this May! So, if I also get into Inver Hills I will be declining my offer and someone off the waitlist will get in!
