Hello princess_nurse,

I am currently in the program in semester 1a and I want to say that it is quite enjoyable.

Based on my experiences it can be quite hard if you don't have enough time to study. Try your best to be on top of your reading because the teachers expect each student to come to class prepared.

For me, sometimes I don't do the reading before I go to class and it can be quite hard to understand,:) but don't worry too much because if you understand and review you will be fine.

In the school library, there are some learning circles and tutors, use them in advantages because it free and are quite helpful.

Also remember that you need to pass ANAT and PNUR because if you don't, you can't do Theory 1

In my opinion, I find PNUR a bit hard because it deals with critical thinking and I found ANAT a bit easy for some reason.

There is ANAT teacher that is really amazing and I highly recommend them. I won't give a name but here a hint: V

Just want to let you know that PNUR has a lot of reading, so make sure you have time for that.

Hi everyone,

Sorry to jump in, but I have a question regarding bridging. I just finished at Seneca, and will be writing my CPRNE in January. I've heard some say they received their pass mark anywhere from a few days to a few weeks afterwards.

Looking at all the bridging options in Ontario, I am interested in a flex program, and see that the deadline to apply is January 31. Because I may not hear back from the CNO by then, does this mean I have to wait an entire year before I can even apply to bridge? I hope not, as it would be a lot of wasted time.

Did you experience this? If so, how did you get around this? Thanks in advance and congratulations to you all on your acceptance! :)

Hey, I'm in my third semester of RPN at George Brown (will be graduating in April, and writing my exam in June). I applied for the George Brown bridging program in September of 2018. I'm pretty sure my GPA is good enough (overall 3.61, but this semester it is a 3.8 so it will be higher by next semester). I'm not exactly sure how other schools work, but at George Brown if I get accepted I will get a conditional offer (the condition is that I pass my CPRNE exam). If I pass, then I will start at the bridge program next year. Basically I need to email my school proof of when I'm writing my exam so they know I will be writing it, an then when I (hopefully!) pass, I need to email them proof of that as well. If I don't pass then I won't get accepted and will have to wait until the following year. I'm sure the other schools are like this as well.

You do not need to pass the CPNRE in order to apply to Centennial College's Bridging to BScN program. You need to have your RPN license by the time you apply to Ryerson prior to the completion of the bridging program.

Hi! I don't have a timetable yet but hopefully the system will allow me soon once the registration block is cleared. I would love to see what blocks/sections are still available at this time so I have an idea what my options are for this semester.
