Hey everyone!
This is a thread for those who got an application in for the Summer 2020 Cohort (Apply in early June, Interview event in July, License needed before July 8, 2020). It looks like the application is already closed. Does anybody have an idea of when it opened? I just so happened to find it and applied on June 2.
My status is "application under consideration" - June 2.
Good luck!

So I havent been really tracking but is the recruiter calling people by department or just random? Can anyone tell? I’m just trying to see if I’m still in the running.
My application status still says interviews and I got my offer yesterday. They may still be making offers to different departments and I think different people are making phone calls. I think someone asked me for a phone number, but I don't think I should hand it out, it may have been her cell phone. I would keep waiting until you get a rejection letter. Also, some people get accepted to more than one hospital and then have to make a choice. So maybe they aren't done and maybe some won't accept.
Aramik will answer your email if you email him. He did answer one of mine on Monday regarding the process. I would stick to that for questions. Also, someone else asked for advice. Truly I am not sure what to say. I applied to a handful of residencies, not because I didn't have a top choice, but because you never know. Some I did not even get a call back on for an interview. Some I interviewed for and did not get. I think they look for so many different things, and I do believe it comes down to how they feel you would fit the unit and staff overall. So skill and personality. My opinion of course. As for interviews, they can be tough. I get through some and feel great, and others I know I could have done better. Always be yourself. Do not try to say what you think they want to hear, they will know it is a manufactured answer. Speak from the heart and be honest. You may feel like you are doing all the right things and still do not get picked, I get it and have been there. Of course these are my opinions but I hope it helps to whoever asked. Also, never give up, you will end up exactly where you are supposed to be.

Sorry for all these questions.. was he the one that called you for the offer or was it someone else? Do you know how many they ended up hiring for your unit?

For those who got offers, what does your application status say? Also did you guys receive an official (email) offer?
