Cedars-Sinai New Grad Summer 2013

Just thought it would be helpful to post a new thread for the upcoming new grad program starting this summer. I've seen the thread for the program last year and wanted to see if anyone was one of the first 250 who applied for it this year. I applied for cohort #1 and got a phone interview last week and the gentleman said that I'd receive an e-mail within 1-2 weeks. I've also heard of people getting rejection emails as well without a phone interview. Anyone have additional info they'd like to share? Good luck to all us new grads out there!

Did everyone do a clinical rotation at cedars? That's the only question that I felt like might hurt me

i didn't do any clinicals at cedars either and felt the same way about that question.

First cohort: How long after submitting did it take to hear anything? From the beginning of the thread it sounds like a week of so for phone interviews? Thanks!

I applied march 21st and got the phone interview march 29th. And I didn't do any clinicals at cedars either

Also, anyone notice at the bottom it said...

"Applications for the RN New Grad Residency Program will be accepted until the first two-hundred fifty (150) applicants apply."

Is it 250 or 150? lol

I saw the posting and applied and after I applied I went to look at the posting again to see what shift it was (just out of curiosity) and it was gone already! Now I'm wondering if I made the cut-off...it said my application was submitted, but hard to tell. Good luck everyone! Seems like it was posted for a much shorter period than last time as people had mentioned they applied a couple days later for the previous cohorts.
