Cedars-Sinai New Grad Summer 2013

Just thought it would be helpful to post a new thread for the upcoming new grad program starting this summer. I've seen the thread for the program last year and wanted to see if anyone was one of the first 250 who applied for it this year. I applied for cohort #1 and got a phone interview last week and the gentleman said that I'd receive an e-mail within 1-2 weeks. I've also heard of people getting rejection emails as well without a phone interview. Anyone have additional info they'd like to share? Good luck to all us new grads out there!

wow, it was only up for an hour and a half! ...glad I had nothing to do today and could sit around waiting for it :)

I saw the posting and applied and after I applied I went to look at the posting again to see what shift it was (just out of curiosity) and it was gone already! Now I'm wondering if I made the cut-off...it said my application was submitted, but hard to tell. Good luck everyone! Seems like it was posted for a much shorter period than last time as people had mentioned they applied a couple days later for the previous cohorts.

I got a confirmation email as well...hopefully that means I made it. I must have literally been the last person!

I'm sure you made it....my friend tried to apply last cohort and while she was filling it out it closed so it wouldn't let her submit it

I have been waiting for the rn new grad residency program post to come up the whole time... But I can't find it.....

Where did u guys apply it from?

It is already closed. I found it by going to their job search tool and selecting Nursing and then New Grad positions from the drop down.

Did anyone else make a note of when the program was going to start? Was it July 22nd?

That's what I was trying to look up when I went back to find the posting and it was gone. That is the date I thought I remembered though.

On the job posting it says it starts June 17 so I'm not sure. Hope we hear something soon!

Did anyone else get confused when it asked "if you graduate this year, when is it?" And made you choose a month...what if we already graduated?
