Did anyone else apply to this new grad program? I completed the one-way interview and assessments.

I have to agree, what a curveball that was. Really good interview training/experience, nonetheless. Wishing the best for everyone!

It was def a hard interview to read. Everyone was so friendly so it could go any direction. I wasn't asked as many questions as I expected so I filled a lot of time with my own. It seemed like they really wanted to wrap up after a long day of interviews. It made me wonder if they fill in positions as they go, I really hope being near the end doesn't factor in in any way. As far as getting hired by the unit that actually interviewed us, great question! I wish I knew.

Yea, I was def. there later. My interviewers seemed kind of over it and were ready to go lol. I remember sitting and thinking wow these are long interviews and during mine I was like wait we're done lol.
i think we do get hired by the unit we interviewed with because they exaplined to me how their specific unit functioned.

Glad I wasn't the only one who felt like that! Maybe it just felt fast while we were in the moment.
Hi I was wondering if they ever asked any of us for references? Or do they do that after they hire?

I thought I'd play it safe so I put them on my resume that I put in my portfolio. I don't know how much it will matter if you didn't include them since someone else in this thread said that they made their hiring decisions that day of the interview.

I wasn't asked for references except for the letters of recommendations.
Yea, I had copies of references if they wanted them during the interview. However, they didn't ask. 2 of the 4 people I had on the references we're the writers of my letter of rec.
So I was looking online at the Cedars-Sinai new grad page and it said "The Graduate Nurse will be eligible to apply for transfer to specialty internships or other divisions after completion of the residency program and one year of experience in their residency unit thereafter."
I'm still a bit confused as to where new hires will be placed if hired if it's in the unit that interviewed us or not.
I'm not sure, I feel like since HR placed our information somewhat randomly there is a chance we will get our area of interest, the ones we interviewed with, or somewhere else all together.
It's not very clear.
Either way, I wish they would hurry up and get back with us!!!! Lol the anticipation is killing me!

I agree!! I heard they made their decisions the day of the interview and we would hear back this week ( today) or next. I wonder if its different for each unit or we would all find out at the same time?
Happy Saturday! I was wondering if anyone heard back yesterday since it was the end of the week? I did not, my curiosity just has me anxiously awaiting so I thought I would ask hehe.
I haven't heard anything yet.
