Cedars-Sinai 2018 May New Grad Program

Did anyone else apply to this new grad program? I completed the one-way interview and assessments.

Congratulations to all!!! I can't imagine the mixed emotions you had to go through but reading through this thread... o man!

I had a question for you guys. How did you know when the New Grad program has opened up to apply? When you set up a job agent... what job posting did you ask to be informed about? Did you say New Grad job or just any nursing job??

I just finished the application that was sent via email. I also received a call from Ronnie in HR who is now "my primary contact". Once the application is completed they are able to run a background check then we have to schedule a drug test within a certain period of time. Also, they'll be sending a FedEx package with more paperwork and information regarding the physical and photo for your ID card.

For those who haven't heard news... I just spoke to Ryan in HR (Olivia was unavailable) and he said they are still making calls...small win!

Natalie: I just called HR and asked them when the application process for that program would open up and I trolled the website everyday to make sure I didn't miss anything. I never set up a job agent so I'm not sure how to do that. I'm pretty sure they only leave the application up for a small period of time though. For those who were accepted, what did they say about the start date of the program?

May 7th but right now they are having us do some paperwork that was sent through fedex for which we meet with hr to go over on April 30 or may 1 at which point we also do a pre employment physical. The first week is just orientation
