Didn't see a thread for this yet so here it is. I believe the application is still open, despite supposedly capping it at 200 applicants. Anyone else here apply?

Not sure if I missed something but was the app simply just making your profile and uploading your docs to it? I feel like it was a very short and I'm paranoid I'm missing something lol. It is listed under jobs I applied to though..

Is the questionnaire you're referring to something they just told you to do or was it something you answered at the time of making your profile and submitting the application? Even with my rejection email this morning, I just saw on my account that there was a link for an assessment and I just completed it and it included what unit I was interested in and if I had applied before, do I have a license.

Yeah thats the assessment, I saw it when I looked at my account and got an email about it. License, unit preference, etc. That's super weird.

How can they already reject people when there really arent any qualifications?

Also, here's the exact wording off of the job description directly regarding re-applying:

"**If you have applied and/or interviewed for the Residency Program previously within the past 12 months you are not eligible for reconsideration. **

I'm not sure if this means that if you were "capped" out of the 200 you can't apply again. It doesn't seem fair to do it that way. Might be worth another HR call.

I applied 11/29 evening and I just received an email saying my app was submitted for consideration. My friend applied 12/1 and received the submittal email as well. Not sure how that cap worked because I feel like it would hit 200 fairly quickly since us LA new grads are so desperate!

I applied to the last cohort and didnt make it past their super hard assessments! Crossing my fingers for this time around!

Well I guess I won't be going much further in the process! Oh well, that's kind of lame because I wasnt close to getting my license so I shouldn't have applied in the first place.

And About a month after I applied last time It was a pharm, med-surg, and multiple personality / behavioral assessments. Took me about 3 hours and it was insanely hard, not going to lie. Then after that I never heard anything.

Oh wow, I've heard of Cedars doing video interview questions, but nothing like that! I guess I better study just in case.

Sorry, about this bad news by the way. It's unfortunate that they have this rule. Good luck in the job hunt!

I just got my email today about doing a video interview. I'm kinda nervous about it because I honestly would much rather do it in person. I also got an email saying I will be receiving an email soon for a skills assessment that will take approximately 2-3 hours. Now I feel like I should study for it since you said it was pretty hard. :/

Congrats on getting a video interview! Just curious, are you not from the Los Angeles area? I am not, and I have not gotten an email invite for a video interview. I got the skills assessment info email on the 5th, but haven't gotten the actual email with the link yet.

Hey everyone! I too applied for the residency program and i'm currently awaiting the Skills Assessment link. No notice about the video interview given I live in Orange County

If you guys have gmail, make sure to check all your tabs (Primary, Social and Promotions). The email invite for the video interview was hidden in my Promotions tab while the skills assessment email appeared in my Primary Tab.

Oh my gosh, thank you for posting that tip! There was my email invitation hidden in the promotions tab... I've never had an email I've anticipated before placed in that category, and it was under a sea of spam. Goodness gracious...
