Is anyone else hoping to be chosen for the August 2018 New Grad Program at Cedars Sinai?

I heard a few other people being told they were going to interview for a department outside their first interest. Maybe HR looked through our resumes and tried to place us where they thought we would fit best. I will post as soon as I hear anything back.

Yes, it was my first choice. I felt like it went pretty well but I felt like it went by so fast. I was told there were 67 people interviewing for 30 spots.

I wonder how many candidates each unit will be taking.

I originally requested critical care but HR told me there were no more time slots to accommodate me so I needed to choose another unit. Guess who ended up interviewing me...critical care -___- caught me off guard a bit. I felt good about the interview but I guess we'll see. Does anyone know when we should expect to hear from HR with their final decision? I tried to ask the nurse managers what the next step was but they said it was up to HR hmm

Yeah, I asked the same thing and she said it was up to HR as well.

No, I wasn't planning to contact HR to ask, was planning to wait to see what happens by the end of next week. Are you planning to contact them?
