CE Courses

As a new nurse I am confused about the amount of CE and hours every nurse has to complete and where to access these courses? When do they have to be completed by? What happens if you do not complete them? I have been hearing about them and would like to know everything there is to know about CE courses.

Check with your BON. They'll tell you how many hours you need (if any). Theyll also tell you what they accept. I have 3 licenses and each state has a different mandatory course requirement, along with total hours and renewal period. Keep these records. You never know when you will be the person to be audited.
