I applied to all campuses. Had 179 total. I feel pretty good. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Thanks Tat2ooedNurse, LPN for the info and best of luck with the process. I only applied into Lincoln and Newport Evening programs, since I am working full time at the moment. Let's hope we all get in!

Has anyone's degree evaluations stopped? I haven't had any pulled in a few days.

I had a General Studies pulled yesterday, but somedays I have 4 pulled and other days I have nothing. It can be very nerve wracking!

The waiting sucks, I am already thinking I might not get in and I am figuring out my strategy for improving my chances for applying in August, though besides retaking the Hesi to maybe get a few more points and maybe retaking a class to go from a B+ to an A, I just dont know what else to do. Or....

I could get lucky and hear good news in April!!!!

Hey, I just checked by degree evaluation and my major concentration changed to nursing evenings but I didn't get an e-mail. Does anyone know what this means. This is my first time applying, so I'm not sure it means anything...I may just be getting my hopes up.

My major has always said general studies/ nursing evening. I wish we could figure out what they are doing :-)

oh come on why does there always have to be one that cries "rigged"?! I got in my first attempt (i'm happily finishing my last semester) and I didn't know anyone and it really stunk how some of my peers would tear apart the whole admission process just because they didn't get in and are bitter. They can't let in everyone and its common knowledge some campus locations are more competitive. Just look at the number of seats. Don't start false rumors.

I suggest that you apply on the last day in the last hour that you can in February 2015.
This way we will make it harder for the counselors to direct the students they want (friends, family, squeaky wheels) toward a session/campus that has the lowest points being accepted.
I still firmly believe that the nursing acceptance manner is a corruptible set of requirements that needs to have complete transparency.
All students meeting the requirements that applied should be listed in points and the highest student the first choice of session/campus right down the lowest. This way the best grades get in period. The new system, same as the last system, mandates a student chooses a session/campus but now you get two choices (OMG). Why make a student choose a session/campus, Oh my bad, you want counselors to manipulate some students toward a session that is accepting lower scores to get in, hmm what students would that be, friends, family ...[/TD]
