CCRI nursing fall 2015 acceptance

It is the randomness of the eval pulls that are driving me crazy. They can be 5 a day or 1 a day or then 0. I applied to all 4 campuses day and night, with a score of I think 179. I am retaking a class now to get an A in it just incase this score is too low for the Fall, I hope its good enough.

LiftingNurse, I know what you mean about the eval pulls. From what I have heard, the eval pulls are done automatically by computer, almost like slotting people in a list. As far as I can tell, there does not appear to be any rhyme or reason behind the days selected to do this. With that being said, I still check every day for some reason.

Last year, the Fall applicants were notified of admittance on 4/01, a month after the applications were due. I'm hoping they find a way to still send admittance letters on 4/01, as the Summer Registration opens on 4/06, with Fall Registration on 4/13. It would not be reasonable/fair to delay the admittance any further than 4/01 for those that do not get into the program and may have to re-take classes.

Has anyone heard an update through the grapevine? Good luck to everyone on their applications.

I wonder if there's someone we can email or call to find out when we should hear back from the program. I know people have done this in the past, but I'm not sure who they reached out to. I just can't handle this waiting!lol

Thanks for your input, and I think what you said about registration makes sense. I do check everyday anyway. I wish they would tell us how many apply in total to the program, it would give us a better sense of our odds. I guess its a lesson in patience :)

I checked my "Performance-Based Health Sciences Application and Status Check

" this morning and it was gone, is this because yesterday was the last day you could apply to nursing ? Kind of spooked. I had 3 eval pulls yesterday.

Ron Giovino showed me timeline. Deadline was the 13th. Then they go through manually to check applicants and look through paper applications. The degree pulls are half computer half manual human labor (as he said) showed me a tentative date of April 3rd for email of conditional acceptance or rejection. That is what they are hoping for. Only went and saw him because they didn't have my high school transcript on file!? Very odd..so had to get transcript..go to Warwick..wait for him to get off phone..then he told me the process. He said those with highest points get their top campus choice. Then after that its computer pulls and department heads making sure ducks are in a row. He gave me some hope but nothing is official. I'm waiting until the 3rd. And I set my ccri email to my phone..I automatically will get the email..good or bad. Fingers crossed..good luck. Hoping for Warwick!
