  1. oh come on why does there always have to be one that cries "rigged"?! I got in my first attempt (i'm happily finishing my last semester) and I didn't know anyone and it really stunk how some of my peers would tear apart the whole admission process just because they didn't get in and are bitter. They can't let in everyone and its common knowledge some campus locations are more competitive. Just look at the number of seats. this program is hard enough please Don't start false rumors and good luck everyone!! i was feeling this 2 years ago so I understand how hard it is to wait=torture

  3. You cannot apply until all required courses are complete. If you are still taking a required course in the spring you cannot apply in Feb and will probably have to wait until the next Feb to apply as classes are usually filled in the first round of the application period. Of course you can always save yourself some time and apply in August for a Campus that starts Nurs 1010 in January. Good Luck!! I am going into ADNU 2040 this Fall and am bracing myself for the challenge as this program is not easy. Study hard and prepare for a lot of clinical work in addition to the theory portion of the course. Stay positive and remember its okay to score lower than you have in the past as long as you stay above the minimums. It takes a bit to get the hang of the style in which they ask the questions. Once you get use to the format the tests become much easier. Don't freeze up and remember to read the question and ask yourself what its really asking you and you can't go wrong. Each semester is different so you will have to adapt but if you are smart enough to get in than you are smart enough to successfully complete the program. Thankfully they got rid of the waiting list so good students have a chance to get right in without fear of being waitlisted behind students who just hit the minimums. Good luck, Future Nurses!
  4. I wasn't auto signed up I had to pick it up on my own. I went to my 'academic profile' (in the 'for students' tab) and clicked on the "select another term" dropdown and switched it to term fall 2013 and was able to see that for that term I was switched from gen studies nursing concentration to Nursing Allied health. So of course I tried to pick up nursing 1010 right away and it let me. So just keep checking and dont forget to switch the term because in the 'for students' tab it still says 'gen studies, nursing concentration' unless I switch to fall 2013 in the dropdown.
  5. I just picked up Nursing 1010 (whoooo whoooo) but nothing on blackboard yet about the course info. See you all at orientation
  6. Yes. The email said that that my bci came back successful and he is changing everyone (this applied to Warwick) over in the computer to Nursing within 2 days and once your Major is switched you have to pick up the class yourself. He gave the course # and said it could be done as soon as the switch is made in the system.I got the email yeterday and was suprised to hear from anyone on a Sunday but I guess they are working hard on getting us where we need to be.It also said we do not recieve a packet in the mail we just recieve our Mandatory orientation invitation in the mail and everything else will be through blackboard. My friend who was also accepted to Warwick days got the email at the same time so it must be mass emails maybe one campus at a time. You haven't recieved anything yet?
  7. Figured i would pass along that I recieved an email from Rob yesterday stating bci checks came back and a letter will be sent for the orientation details. The orientation is in May. I was accepted for Warwick days and am not sure if each campus has their own orientation. So happy to hear its "official" and our majors will change in the system in 2 days so we can pick up our classes. Yaaaay!!
