Ccri Nursing acceptance fall 2013

Published

So i went to Crri on Feb 1 at around 9:00am to summit my application for the fall semester, this will be my second time, hopefully i get in!!! How many times did you applied before getting in?

[i'm a ultrasound hopeful] It's definitely just a computer thing that pulls them. Because I haven't had a degree evaluation pulled in days since (the 22nd or 23) and it pulled one today around 12:30 which is what you guys have been saying.

I think it is a computer but it is done to cut us out or leave us in .To see where we are obviously to evaluate us and to compare us , If they dont pull any more I think marcos is right and we should here soon.

Pink does something else change when or if we do get accepted on that application page??

I don't know. That wasn't there last application period. They say it means nothing until next time with their new system. I remember mine was pulled and then it stopped, but others kept getting pulled last time after mine stopped. I didn't get in they did. So to me it means a lot mine is getting pulled the same amount of times as everyone else's. Even if it means nothing. My only concern this time was, I never saw my grades go in...unless they did it before I started checking. My application still reads 'complete ready for review' and it says application preference 'not entered'. Does yours say that?

i have been reading all your posts && I'm actually relieved that I'm not the only one stressing about this!! the wait is killing me && I'm trying to think sooooo positive but this is my first time applying && its crazy cause u hear so many different things from different people which makes it 10 times harder.......is it true that we may find out as early as this Friday?? =/

Welcome to the group :) We are the most stressed and anxious people of the world right now :) Yes... we should hear as early as Friday according to one of the people in admissions. Two more days people!! I have no nails left!

I am really hoping but also looking up lpn schools just so i can leave my job in summer lol if i dont get in ccri , pinky honey yes mine says the same as yours ! last time mine got pulled almost until the very end so now I am not excited for me its like ill see it when I get it if not Im still making other plans I guess I am just throwing my self in research just to be ready . I just cant wait until friday , praying it is that date that we hear back.

Welcome Jazzy! We could, but wouldn't hold my breath. One of us received an e-mail saying Friday. I contacted Providence and Lincoln, they said by the end of March first week of April. Last year at this same time, they heard on 4-18. So no-one really knows until someone gets an email of rejection or acceptance. Which campus and day or night?

exactly!! that's what i mean.....I've heard we can find out as early as the end of march, then mid April, then the end of April.......ughhhhh!! u guys have no idea how many different people I've questioned about this because I'm just sooooo nervous!! i've been trying not to check my email && try to put it in the back of my mind but its so hard lol I'm a CNA && don't get me wrong its an okay job depending where u work but i don't want to do it for the rest of my life && everyone at my job knows I'm going to school for nursing so everytime i go to work they keep asking if i got in.......it would really suck to have to tell friends && fam i wasn't accepted :(

jazzy yes it sucks so I am hoping I dont have to tell everyone for the 3 time in my life , I applied last time , then to a school in brockton mass who didnt take me because of my highschool grades . I really hope we do hear soon , cna work is fine for a few years if your in a hospital or a good facility but like you said some of us desire more , thank god for us !!

i applied Providence campus (days) i was gonna do evenings but they told me its more competitive because there's less seats. evenings would be ideal for me because i work over night shift && its ridiculously tough getting out of work at 7am && having to go to class in the morning trust me i've done it before but no way was i gonna chance it trying to get in evenings so i chose days

yes Ffranco it really would suck to have to do that this whole process is tough && i don't feel as confident as i did before i mean my grades are really good but now i don't know if that's enough anymore because of how competitive this whole thing is. i didn't realize this when i chose nursing as my major but i really want to do it i've worked sooooo hard && come this far
