Ccri Nursing acceptance fall 2013

Published

So i went to Crri on Feb 1 at around 9:00am to summit my application for the fall semester, this will be my second time, hopefully i get in!!! How many times did you applied before getting in?

the evening lincoln and providence have the same amount of seats , which i just realized when pink mentioned it here the other day , but i guess the gpas and the points could be higher in the evenings and there for it would be harder to get in. I have pretty good grades except micro my teacher was horrible I got B , health 1000 i hated I got a B , and transfered english 1010 from Bcc , the 2 others sciences I got -A and B in psychology my lowest grade in that field ever :( my teacher didnt even know the answers to the tests he bought from the book company really sad if you ask me , he couldn't take time to make a test every few weeks.

Night has 2 more seats than day Providence if I recall from looking at it. I applied Providence days also. It's not fun telling people or people asking if you got in. That's why I choose to keep it private this time around. I'm still not over it...and will apply to St. Joe's, RIC, and even NETI (LAST RESORT).

My best friends will be a in their third year...bitter sweet.

I have developed serious stomach pains over the last few days from nerves :(

so i know when i looked at the requirements sheet the main classes they look at are anatomy, physiology, && dosage right?? oh && the teas test which i wasn't thrilled about my scores for that.

When I was looking at my transcript, I was thinking I would probably make a good psych nurse. Sociology and 2 required psychology are the only classes I received A's in. They don't count as much as the magic 3.

Franco, I have had a migraine for 3 days. Stress is doing a number on my mind, body, and soul.

pink777 i wish i had done what u did && kept it private until whether i knew i got in or not. this is the most anxiety i've ever had in my life i actually should be napping now because i have to go to work soon til 7am but i can't even sleep.....talk about stressing much??!!

that's why i was really confident up until recently because i got an A in physiology, an A- in anatomy && a B+ in dosage so i kinda thought i was a shoo in but then i keep hearing about this point system && how some people had really high GPAs && still didn't get in. so i kinda don't know what to think anymore all any of us can do is wait it out

No sleep, studying, house cleaning, ect. This has my full attention, well besides my children. Until I get that golden ticket. lol

new england tech is for rich people pinky lol , oh jazzy , for their gpa they count anatomy , physiology , dosage , health 1000 and micro , then they give you points for that where ever you fall in , points for teas test , points for accuplacer reading if you scored 95 or higher , the closer you are to 160 points the better you are off. I should give up nursing and go work for ccri admissions lol and become an advisor for the darn program . I remember everything lol. I retook dosage and by 2 points almost got an A :(. I have shared with the world and I have everyone praying for this.

I say the same thing, should hire me to inform newbies. Exactly what path and which classes to take, what works best. Not the hog wash they tell. It wouldn't of took me 3 years if someone guided me correctly. I actually would change a lot. I guess I'll have to wait for that, when I pay it forward and teach. Hire more professors...so more spots become available.

I have a suggestion.... let's start charging for advice on this board lol.... that way, with all the people reading these posts, we can raise enough money to get all of us through the NEIT Nursing Program! Why am I wasting such a brilliant mind at CCRI? :)
