Ccri Nursing acceptance fall 2013

Published

So i went to Crri on Feb 1 at around 9:00am to summit my application for the fall semester, this will be my second time, hopefully i get in!!! How many times did you applied before getting in?

They pullef them a lot last time and this time too . I cant see those pady ones i think i might of deleted them .I just know mine was pulled on a tuesday then I heard on a wed the sad news. Hey pink what am I suppose to look at where the application info is all in , what was you saying to the other girl???

marcos so is that for everyone ?

I would assume so. I attended an information session last year with this guy and he told us he was part of the group in charge of deciding who gets in and who doesn't. He even joked about it saying they order lots of Dunkin Donuts while doing it. Now that I am waiting to hear from them, I find it very hard to see the humor behind that statement :/

alee its so hard I give you respect for not dropping out, Marcos Im just being causious you know I want to get in and I am praying for all of us , I just dont want to get burned again :( . It makes sence that they would answr us this week because last time I applied when they stoped running my application I heard like 2 days after that . Praying for a Miracle still !!!

I hear you Ffranco !! I don't know when you applied for last year... but February is THE BEST time to apply for the Fall program. We have a better chance of getting in considering all possible seats will be available. June and August application is only offered if there still seats available... and judging by the way things are going... I don't see much left once we all get in !!! :)

Hopefully in the fall we can re-read these posts, as we are in nursing school, and laugh at how crazy the application period made us! I am praying for all of us...

There will be no time to re-read these posts once we get in !!!! LOL

You sir! sound so optimistic! I am sure they will evaluate a lot of things. I have an idea how they are going to do it but,it's just assumption. Am just tired.. I want a chance to just see what CcRi nursing have to offer.

has anyone talked to those who got accepted? from last year and are they still in the program? I heard horrid accussation about the school work and professors. I could care less about that! It's expected.. let's just hope their fair is the key to success.

Exams are every two weeks. Dosage exam is within the first 3 weeks. Some of my friends were A students now their C+ ish students. 3 have dropped out or failed out. Others had a hard time in clinical, some are trying to master the exams. Some are actually graduating this May. It all depends on you, and what you put into it. CNA will have a little easier in beginning. Only because it how to make bed ect. After you complete 1010, if you don't hold a CNA license you can sit for the state test. Some professors are hard, some are helpful and will go the extra mile. PrepU... Read the Taylor book only for 1010. Lewis for 1020. I know you don't want to fail out, because you have to jump bigger hoops to get back in a year later...not a semester later.

Ffranco ccri, for students, check application status on top left corner, third down.

To whoever ask, they pulled less this time than in the past on my end.

pink777,

Your so informative... I agree! It truly depends on the individual. "Sigh" Do you have a background in CNA work? Am sure the first rotation is mainly basic care, then following the intensive medical/Surg. Atmosphere... So what would you think pink777, how are they going to select who gets in or not?

And those who dropped out due to whatever circumstances,do they ever tried again? Do they have to re-apply to get selected like the rest of us or is it just a continuation of a second chance?

Personal issues for 1.

1 barely failed, having a hard time getting back in.

1 was way to stressed but exceeded academically.

...and yes I'm a CNA. I wanted to become one before becoming a nurse. I want to be a well rounded RN. I know your CNA's are your eyes and ears...and will respect me more, because I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty.
