CCBC Spring 2020 Cohort

Published

Hello, I am starting a topic for the cohort at Community College of Baltimore County who will be applying for the Spring 2020 semester. I know that applications will be due soon at the end of this month, so please share your nerves, questions, ect. Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know if they really make you wait until Jan on the waitlist? My email said that I wouldn't find out until 2 weeks before the program starts.

I waited until 2 weeks before school started this semester for them to tell me I did not make it for fall 2019. So it’s possible.

I wish I could see who are behind these profiles! I cant wait to start with all you Essex Day people! For those who are waitlisted and continue to complete prereqs... just know they look at those who are finished all classes first. I was waitlisted last semester because of this, but made it this semester. good luck everyone!!! we can do thisssss

To those got in, would anyone be willing to post your stats? TEAS? GPA? Etc. I'm just trying to figure out what I should work on. It would be greatly appreciated!

So, I was waitlisted last semester bc I applied before my A&PII and chem and English were complete. I took all classes once. Bs in Bio, A&PI, and Micro. As in the rest. Teas was 85. GPA 3.66. I know retaking classes and having classes finished was a big thing.

Thank you for this! I have retakes (but nothing i can do about that now, what's done is done). I shall try again!

good luck!!! you can do this!!!

Hey guys, I was wondering.. I have completed all my prerequisites and non-nursing classes (I have a BS in Biology), how long does it usually take to complete the RN program?

Specializes in MFT.

@KBhopefulRN

You may have a shot at starting in the spring, two students in my class were accepted into their first choice program and are declining there seat with Essex. As far as my Stats go, I have mostly B's in my science courses, my overall score on the teas was a 90.7%, I also completed the Essex summer course and received a certificate which also counted towards the admission process. I believe it was called Nursing Success. I have all my prereqs completed besides Nutrition and Chemistry. Hopefully this helps, good luck to you!

I believe it takes two years.
