  1. @KBhopefulRN You may have a shot at starting in the spring, two students in my class were accepted into their first choice program and are declining there seat with Essex. As far as my Stats go, I have mostly B's in my science courses, my overall score on the teas was a 90.7%, I also completed the Essex summer course and received a certificate which also counted towards the admission process. I believe it was called Nursing Success. I have all my prereqs completed besides Nutrition and Chemistry. Hopefully this helps, good luck to you! -B @NpHopeful7 I believe it takes two years. -B
  2. Good morning ladies, I was accepted into the Essex Day Program. Best of luck to everyone!! -B
  3. So I just tried logging into my CAS application and its set up to start a new cycle. I can no longer view my application. However, when I log onto my Simon my status still says "under review." I really hope this means decisions will be mailed out soon. The suspense is killing me! -B
  4. Hey everyone, I'm also starting to feel a bit anxious for their decision. My Simon account still shows "under review" but my CAS application itself shows a dash next to application status. I hope we all get into the program of our choice the first time around. I cant imagine going through this waiting process again. Keep your fingers crossed! -B
  5. Hey everyone, Besides the gpa, teas score and the amount of completed courses, I do know they also look at how many credits you have taken at ccbc. If you have taken 16 or more credits with them you get points towards your admission. I was also told the Professionalism course with professor Hudson is taken into consideration. Its really hard to pin-point how many points go towards what. I just hope for the best, especially with +200 applicants! -B
  6. @hopegirl21 I believe we should recieve a decision by both, email and by mail. Will see, I will keep you posted. -B
  7. @hopegirl21 I wonder why its acting funny, I will keep you posted if I recieve any status change. Fortunately, we will recieve a letter in the mail with their decision. Im sorry your Simon account is giving you a hard time. -B
  8. @hopegirl21 When you go on Simon: Click on, Student Services, Admissions tab then underneath admission term, select Spring 2020 CCBC. Once you click on your application it will show you the status and eventually the decision of the application. Hopefully this helps. ? -B
  9. Hey everyone, The 6-8 week time frame is approaching. Im assuming we should find out between Oct. 23rd- Nov. 2nd. My application says "Under Review" at this time. @Abcar1 and @Madge001 thanks for responding, hopefully we all get into the program! What were your stats prior to applying? Im finishing up my last two pre-bsn courses. My overall gpa is a 3.3, I recieved Exemplary on my teas, I also did the ccbc pre-nursing professionalism class. -B
  10. Did anyone apply to the Essex RN Day program? -B
  11. I applied to the RN Days program at Essex. Hopefully more students will join this thread. =) -B
  12. Hello, I also applied, best of luck to you. Now the wait begins! -B
