Hello, I am starting a topic for the cohort at Community College of Baltimore County who will be applying for the Spring 2020 semester. I know that applications will be due soon at the end of this month, so please share your nerves, questions, ect. Good luck everyone!
TEAS proficient
Reading 94
GPA 2.85 on CCBC however that included other classes that I took 17 years ago while in high school. Nursing admissions told me they do not include those even though CAS application calculates that. My GPA is 3ish I believe, I have to calculate just the nursing prerequisites
All of my prerequisites were completed. I also have 56 credits from previous coursework. I am not sure what all they looked at.
It could be all the course work I have done extra, I took MATH 125 and 163
I took Human Anatomy 1 twice, to get a higher grade.
The program is competitive. I would advise to anyone FINISH PRE-REQS 1st.

Congratulations! You will do great.
Has anyone gotten acceptance into the Spring Blended RN program at Catonsville? Where my fellow mates at ???
I didn’t get any information about what kind of grades and teas they want. The application has to be in by December 15. They are letting people know January 2 if they got in. Orientation will be on January 9. I don’t think a lot of people applied but that could change. They told me they got the approval at the last minute that’s why we don’t have a lot of time to have everything completed. They lady from the School of Health Professions was there helping people with the Cas applications. She looked at my application and said they had everything they needed. There was several people who was there who failed out of the RN program. Also lifebridge hospitals do hire lpn’s.
My gpa is not all that great. My gpa for the classes they need is 3.0. My teas score suck. I got a 71.3 overall. I got a 78.7 in the reading. I hope financial aid can pay for the program. If not I will be screwed. I can’t take out any loans. I think the program will be good. They say the teachers really help you out. They have a 100% pass rate for the nclex. Also the classes for evening and weekend will be Tuesday and Thursdays.
