Hi all!
I just submitted my application to CCBCs Essex Day program for Fall '19. I immediately felt like I was going to puke! (hopefully this is a good indication?!) Anyway, I would love to connect with other applicants, so we can worry together.
Hoping to hear back from some of you!

I'm in the second half of my second semester in the evening/weekend program. I'm an ATB student, so my first semester I was in class three nights a week (for two courses), lab/clinical Saturday and/or Sunday, and then my Frostburg class was completely online.
After the first semester, your semesters are "split" in a sense- you will take a Concepts class for the first half of the semester (basically Med-Surg classes) and then a specialty for the second half. That being said- if you don't pass Concepts, you are not permitted to take the specialty. We went from a class of 40 to a class of 26 after Concepts I. I'm not saying this to scare anyone- the content you'll be learning isn't what makes nursing school difficult. The content itself is very straightforward, it's the time management and organization and prioritizing that seems to throw people off. It's really easy to fall behind (especially if like the majority of the E/W students you also work full time and/or have little ones at home).
Good luck!
