Hello I just took my TEAS and scored a proficient at 75& and my GPA is 3.67. I really hope I get in. I figured I would start a thread :)
So does that mean as long as you qualify you are automatically accepted? I know there is a meeting next week to answer questions, I'm just anxious/excited about it! I have a 2 and 4 y/o and my husband will be gone the first two months of the semester for work so I'm wondering how much "extra" material there will be.
It sounds to me like we still do our coursework as planned over the 4 semesters and then after we graduate from CCBC we would automatically continue in fall of 2016 with the Towson coursework. I don't think we take the Towson classes at the same time, but I could be wrong. I would ask about it...
I have a friend that just started the ATB with Towson. She goes to Towson on Wednesdays for classes, so you do start right away. I got a letter about that program too in my packet but I would need to take Stats, Chem and Nutrition before August 24th, so there was no way I could accept it. Oh well. I also already have a bachelors degree in an unrelated field, so maybe the RN to MSN might work for me in the future. I know I have plenty of time to look into these things and get advice from other people.
For any more evening/weekenders

I wanted to do it but I have to do Chem and statistics over the summer and honestly I just don't feel like it. I know this program is super challenging and I really want to rest up and do everything I can with my family and friends over the summer because I won't be able to enjoy them like this again until after graduation.

Glad it's not just me! :) I am taking nutrition over the summer, though; I figure one thing at a time and I'll still be prepared to apply to a BSN bridge program after I'm done with my RN. (And be better equipped to pay for it.)

Yea makes sense. Since we are off for the summers between semesters, I'll just take one each summer. Then I'll be prepared to go to a bsn abridge program after graduation.
After looking at towsons schedule for fall, I think I'm not going to do atb. It would be tues & thurs morning at towson, then tues, wed, thurs night at Essex.
Hey Mysticmomma how did you find out what days our classes would be at essex for us evening/weekenders? And do you know the class times? Im dying to find out asap so i can tell my job and get my schedule changed to accomodate.
