CCAC FALL 2019 Hopefuls!

I'm putting this page up pretttty early but only because I'm excited lol. I wanted to create a place for those applying next spring for fall 2019 to start to be able to talk about our journeys as we finish pre reqs or Co reps(all non nursing courses)for those shooting for the fast track at Boyce like myself! I'm currently for finishing up a summer semester of intermediate Algebra, intro to psych, and English 102. In the fall I'll be taking A&P 2 and human development, then finish off all non nursing courses with A&P 2 in spring 2019 and microbiology in summer 2019 just before fall start 😊. Where are you at on your journey?

I took the TEAs a little under two years ago, it’s basic math, reading, and I think writing. The science part did have some a and p material on it. I had previously not taken a n p 1 or 2 when I took the TEAs and I passed. I did purchase a TEAs book from Barnes and Noble prior to taking it and I think it helped prepare me.

On the CCAC website it states we should get an email by April 27th!!!! Its right around the corner!!!

Where does it say that? They usually send out letters did they change it?

Admission/denial letters will be sent via email initially by April 22nd. Formal letters will also be sent via postal mail and may arrive shortly thereafter.

Hi all!

Does anyone else’s application portal show 0/3 for the supplemental items? I tried emailing amber reed but haven’t heard back yet. I verified with admissions that they have all the items. They just don’t seem to be transferring to the new application portal! Just trying to see if I’m the only one!

I have the same thing showing on my discover.ccac page, I've been obsessed since january and I was emailed back saying to just ignore it basically. I verified that the advising office has everything that shows missing, so she said unless she emails me asking for missing info that she does have it.

Yeah mine says 1/5 bc I uploaded my LPN license but Amber Reed did verify with me that my documents are at the school, so no worries. Just dying from anticipation. I wont even be able to enjoy my Easter Break. Ughh.

My supplemental items list as of Friday says 3/3 and my application status says completed. Has anyone heard anything from CCAC yet about whether or not they have been accepted? I am just so impatient and am hoping to find out soon about being accepted. I know in terms of being accepted I have everything done except Micro which I am in now. My GPA isn’t the greatest, but I have GPA points for Ap1 and 2. I am guessing as far as ranking goes for being accepted I’m definitely in the back of the list.
