Hello!
This is being created for the CCAC nursing students who have applied to the Fall 2018 semester. I saw one that was created for the Spring 2018 and thought it would be great to connect and share information for those of us that are hoping for this coming Fall.
So, when do you think we will hear back if we got in or not?
What were your TEAS scores?
How many of you have taken the prereqs and supporting classes?
What campus did you choose and why?
Is this your first career or are you looking for a second career?
I'll put my answers in the comments below. I look forward to connecting with you all and am excited to hear about your adventures!
I just went and talked to both nursing and admissions and they both know nothing it's quite frustrating. But the woman at advising said if it wasn't lost then it's probably taken this long because we weren't accepted.
that annoys me, that she would say that but then say she doesn't know anything about it? Idk. Oh well. I guess I'll wait to hopefully hear from Amber.

Don't listen to the admission people they have no idea how the process works. I finally talked to her yesterday, there was a problem with my paperwork, but going to get fixed. Sounds like she has a lot of people to get back to. She said she had a list of people to call probably for similar reasons. Before I finally talked to her I emailed her twice, left a message on voicemail, went to records department, talked to the secretary of nursing (very unhelpful) etc. I was also getting very frustrated and also becoming very doubtful. Don't give up hope! I would try sticking to only contacting amber reed it seems like talking to other staff isn't helpful and it becomes discouraging.

That gives me a lot of hope. Hopefully I'll hear back from her today! It's been a very frustrating week for sure.

I believe you receive a letter either way so don't give up hope! It's hard not knowing and I'm getting frustrated but they have to inform us either way!
