Has anyone taken A&P II at Cayuga Community College (SUNY) online?
If so, was it completely online, final exam included?
I contacted the registrar and they could not give me an answer.
I have friends at other colleges where they had to set up a proctor for the final. I am in a rural area so that is not an option for me.
Thanks for your help!

I took both A&P I & II on line through Cayuga. It was great, demanding and well worth it. I am now in a clinical nursing program and am surprised at how much A&P I retained.
The entire course (including lab) is online. When you get your transcript it does not mention that it was online.
They transferred without a problem into my program (CCNY).
Good luck
Thanks so much for the reply.
Although i have delayed registering, i just checked out cayuga and there are still openings...i hope i get a great teacher and have as good of an experience as you did!!
Good luck!

Be careful! One section requires a in person or proctered exam!! I emailed the teacher directly to confirm my section was completely online
Thank you so much for the reply. I will certainly e-mail her and ask her if her section is fully online, before it is too late!
Thanks again and take care!

I'm thinking of taking that exact course - A&P I - how is it going so far? Thanks!
We are on our first module so I do not have a whole lot of info on it yet, but she seems very strait forward. I take my first exam this weekend so I am not quite sure how her exams will be but I will keep you posted.
Either way it goes, the convenience of taking the class online and not having to go to an actual class just cannot be beat!
Each module gives you what chapter to study. For instance, Endocrine system. You will have a 10 question quiz on the chapter, then a 10 question quiz on the computer simulated lab you complete via a disk and a workbook.
Every other module or so has a discussion question where you respond to the question (the questions have several parts and it is really like an essay) and then you formulate a smaller response to three of your classmates discussion submissions.
Every exam is online in this section there is no proctored exam at all so I would imagine A&P I would be the same with this professor.
Take care and good luck!
Wow, thanks so much style1m! The class sounds like exactly what I need, and the convenience of online study definitely can't be beat. Best of luck on the exam this weekend, and let me know how it is whenever you get a chance!
Thanks :)
No problem! I just want to clarify that there are 3 exams during the semester then a final and a lab final...each module has the small quizzes then after two or three modules there are the larger exams...I forgot to mention that!
Take care!
I wanted to give you an update on the online A&P course. The quizzes are DEFINITELY challenging, but not impossible. The questions absolutely require that you have done the reading in advance; they are certainly formulated to make sure you did. The lab quizzes are very specific so completing each lab in full is a must!
My first big exam is in a couple weeks....I'll keep you posted!
