Did not see a thread for applicants for the Case Western 2026 application cycle Goodluck to all applying
animeNanesthesia said:following! good luck to everyone applying! I attended the information session over the Summer and if I remember correctly they said we would hear from them like mid-January about interviews, late January they will conduct interviews, and by February we will have our results.
Did they mention an estimated start date for the program?
Hey Guys,
I attended the virtual info session this Summer and these are the key take aways that I thought important:
They will interview 50-55 students. Interviews invites will be sent out beginning of January. The LEAP program starts in June 2026 and ends in April/May 2027, then start the 3 year CRNA program of choice. Classes for the LEAP are sync online - usually every Monday and Wednesday held live and you must attend in real time (I think they said it starts in the evening around 7pm). There is an in person simulation lab required in the fall. The program is 1 yr long (3 semesters/16 credits) then match one of 10 schools. Matching: at the end of the 2nd semester, you are asked your top 3 schools. Then the schools also pick who they want, based on how you are doing in LEAP classes and your initial interview. There are 10 schools, 2 students get placed at each school. Min GPA is 2.7 and need proof of a previous CRNA program denial.
About 120 applications reviewed, only 20 students accepted (2 students/ CRNA school). The cost of the LEAP program is about $30,720 (with a 20% discount). These classes are considered graduate level for financial aid purposes.
Interviews are 2 days and 2 part interview with panel and directors of programs. Interviews are virtual.
Hope this helps some people answers some questions. Good Luck to us ALL!

Thank you so much for confirming this. I wish I had known about LEAP sooner—I would've definitely attended the info session. I had gathered most of this through extensive research but didn't want to risk sharing anything inaccurate. This really alleviates a lot of anxiety by answering questions many of us had. You're awesome, and good luck to all of us! 🙏
