Case Western Reserve University LEAP Certificate Pathway - Summer 2025

Published

Hello! I wanted to create this thread for updates for those applying to the LEAP Certificate program through Case Western the deadline is December 6. I'm nervous, but excited! I did attend one of their information sessions over the Summer and they mentioned that all applications would be reviewed at the same time. There was no early decisions. All applications would be reviewed once the application cycle has closed and that we'll start hearing responses in January.

Seriously good luck to all!! I'm not sure where this info is but have they said how many people they accept and how many applicants they've got in the past?

They accept 2 students per affiliate program. So if there's 8 schools, then 16 students. They didn't say how many they're interviewing, but considering we saw about 40 interview spots when it first opened, that estimate is my guess.

They accept 20 (2 slots per program for 10 programs). I believe they interview 41 ppl

Some programs have 1 spot in previous years. University of Cincinnati had  1 spot and West Virginia had 1 spot. Other institutions made up for this by taking more than  2 students.

had my interview today. don't feel the best about it, but it was also my first every CRNA interview. How is everyone else feeling that interviewed ?

I'm sorry :( I'm sure you're just being hard on yourself!! How did it go—in terms of like the flow of things?

Anyone received any denials yet?

I've had a few interviews and it gets a little easier LOL. My nerves are still wrecked though 😅. We're always gonna feel like we could do better I think.

Same, my EI answers were like putting someone head in the toilet and flushing it on them😅😅...

I had mine as well. I can breathe a little bit now but still nervous about it. I wish everyone luck and hope for good news!

I think I blanked out on my answers. I felt it was fair but definitely still tough. I would say pretty evenly split between emotional and clinical based questions.

2 break out rooms. room a and b.

about 15 or so min each. and then you get to speak with current leap students.

good luck to everyone who interviewed today and for those who will interview Wednesday!

they said decisions will be given by march 1!
