Case Western Reserve University Graduate Entry 2017

Published

Hello! I haven't found any current discussion posts about Case Western's Grad-Entry program for Fall 2017 and wanted to know if there were other people out there who applied/have been accepted or are currently in the program that could share their experiences! I was recently accepted last month and waiting to hear back from other programs before I make a decision. Overall, the program sounds wonderful and I got a really great vibe from the campus, students, and faculty. So, if there is anyone else out there I would love to hear your opinions on the program and if you plan to attend! :)

I havent been able to find a post for entry into 2018. I was wondering if anyone who got in this year be able to tell me the timeline of the application process. How long did it take for them to reach out to you after you submitted your application?

Did you apply yet? If so have you heard back about an interview yet? I had my interview this week and they said it could be up to a month until I hear back but I thought the whole process was supposed to take 2-4 week.

Yeah I just submitted my application last week. So I'm pretty late in the game. How long did it take until you heard back about an interview?

I honestly thought the same thing from looking at this forum but maybe they are just going to take longer this year :/

It took around 15 days for them to get back to me from the day they received all of my application materials. And my interview was only a few days later in person. Are you in the local area or will you be doing a phone interview? I would think you should be hearing back soon within the next week about an interview or not! Let me know who you get to interview you and if it's the same person I'll give you some pointers on the questions

Hopefully I do get an interview :) I'm not local but I'll most likely fly out there if I get an interview. I feel like the in person interviews make a difference :) but thanks so much I definitely appreciate it :) looking forward to hearing about your acceptance. Take care!

How was the interview? I have mine this week in person! I was accepted into OSU's Grad Entry FNP program, but like the structure of CWRU's program a lot, so I am still highly considering their program as well. I visited Case a few weeks ago and talked to one of the professors- she was extremely genuine and informative! Good luck to you both!!

Hi All! I am applying for the 2018 cohort. I was wondering if you guys could tell me what your GPA, GRE, and experience was? I'm trying to get an idea for how good of chance I have of getting. I still need to take anatomy and re-take microbio.

Let me know!

Hi All! I'm trying to gauge what my chances of getting in are before I apply. If you don't mind, could you guys share your GPA, GRE, and experience? I have a lower GPA, but a great personal statement, recommendations, and experience. Let me know! I'm applying for Fall 2018

I recently got a phone call that I was accepted just waiting for the email confirmation to accept it. I have a 3.87 GPA so I did not have to take he GRE, if you have over a 3.4 you can opt out of it. So far everything has been really great. I would recommend applying ASAP so they can get you in for an interview because it seems like most people are offered an interview, which is when you can really show why you want to go to the school. That's the most important part I think.

I have actually started a thread for the fall 2018 if you want to comment on there I think more people will reply. Several people that have had interviews and/or been accepted have been on that page and really helpful

Thank you! Could you send the link?
