The interview lasted at max. 20 minutes?! It was really short. They do ask the typical questions you would expect why do you want to be a crna, why should we pick you. They asked if I had charge nurse responsibilities and if I was precepting new nurses. They also ask about your shadowing experience and be prepared to answer questions based off of however you answer that question. It took about a full month before I heard back from them AFTER I received a letter from them saying I would have an interview. I know they have more dates for interviews on November 28th and Sometime in the first week of December. They told me it should only be 2-3 weeks till I hear an answer from them so I am hoping for good news!

So it sounded like everyone was getting basic get to know you questions. But I got a lot of clinical and math questions. I went blank on a couple of questions. I feel like an idiot. Oh well we will just have to wait and see.

I feel your pain! I felt like I was getting quite a bit of math and even got a clinical question about a drug. I'm sure everyone feels like an idiot afterwards and you get into your car and want to kick yourself and wish you would have answered many things different. But all in all, I think it was fair and the directors seemed nice and made me feel comfortable so that made-up for it. I definitely was a fumbling idiot over even some personal questions but I'd like to meet a person that isn't when they go in! Good luck everyone!

Awesome news! Congrats! :yeah: So the letter only took one week to come instead of 2 to 3?

Right! It only took one week. Did you interview on the 28th? I know there is another interview December 5th too.

I arrived about 20 minutes before my interview started, it took about 15-20min and I left. So not that long! I would go early though because it was my first time to campus and I had no idea where I was going... the parking garage is behind the building and slightly confusing.

Yes, I interviewed the 28th. They told me I would hear within 4 weeks. The wait is going to drive me crazy!

Congratulations, Cvicu!!! I am happy for you. I doubt we will be classmates but I should here back from VCU in the next couple of weeks. So that is what I am banking on right now.

I interviewed on the 21st as well and was told that I would hear back in January. I received my acceptance letter today. The waiting is definitely the worst part! Congratulations, Cvicu! Looking forward to meeting you. And good luck to everyone!

Congrats to you too, sappalicious! Looking forward to meeting you too :) I also interviewed the 21st.... Sounds like they interviewed a lot of people that day. Good luck everyone else!
