Case Western Admission

I was just wondering if anyone else got accepted into Case Westerns program starting Fall 2010. I just found last week! (had the first set of interviews I guess!)

Hi everyone.. Interview was yesterday and I'm not sure what to think. I was nervous as usual but quickly came around. The interview was very short like you said.. 20 mins tops.. and I got the "we'll let ya know by Jan/Feb" line at the end. Thanks again for all the tips!!

I interviewed last November. Really got the impression that the panel knew before I even walked into the room that they were going to take me or not. Only one person was asking the majority of the questions. Very general stuff like strength/weaknesses stuff. If they find a flaw they will really drill you about it.

Expect 10 to 15 minutes for the whole thing.

Later I found out that they do in fact pre-pick who they want which pretty much renders the interview useless. As long as you don't totally blow the interview you are in if you were on their pre-pick list. However you have pretty much zero chance to wow them into taking you if you were not on their list from the get-go.

How do you know if you were pre-selected? If they a few questions about your hobbies, financial situation, etc you can pretty much that they want you.

Kiss your chances goodbye if you don't get asked any of those type of questions.

How do I know all of this? One of the panel members leaked it out to me off the record.
