University of Cincinnati Interview
Hey, I live in Cincinnati and was also accepted into UC for 2010! I went to UC for undergrad and lived around the Clifton area during school. While it was not too expensive and close to campus, it is often not the safest place late at night or early in the morning. While I never had any problems when living in Clifton for four years, I did have a friend that was held up at gun point twice late at night in an area around main campus and another friend that was mugged as well. As long as you are in a group late at night though it has always been safe to me. After I graduated I moved to Hyde Park and that is where my wife and I live now. It is a bit more expensive, but you can't beat the neighborhood or the quick 10 minute drive to UC. If you need any help with the area you can always pm me as well and I would be happy to help.

I went to UC for my BSN and if you want a place to stay close to campus, the Marriott Kingsgate Hotel is located right beside the College of Nursing and is a short 2 minute walk to University Hospital. I know that the hotel is a bit pricey, around $175 a night, but you are right there on the medical campus and by University Hospital. Below is the link for the hotel: http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/cvgkg-kingsgate-marriott-conference-hotel-at-university-of-cincinnati/ Otherwise, I can't really think of any other hotels that are close besides downtown or about a mile or two north of campus. Good luck.

trav2CRNA - Congrats on getting accepted at Case. I also interviewed and was accepted to Case last month as well. I was really impressed by what the program has to offer and enjoyed the short time I spent in Cleveland for the interview. younjt - Best of luck on your interview. While the panel appears to be very intimidating, they ask general questions and it didn't take long for me to feel comfortable. They really want to know why you want to go to CRNA school/Case Western and are really interested in learning about who you are. A word of advice, make sure you get there early or scope out the area the day before. I went up the night before the interview and drove around to find a parking garage because they are doing a lot of construction by the College of Nursing and I'm sure you will not need any more stress the day of your interview.
