I am a new grad and I have an interview for a New Grad Residency program in a couple of weeks. The hospital sent me information about the interview and it says it will be a panel interview consisting of behavioral questions and a case study. I was wondering if anyone has insight on case study interview questions for a new grad position. If you have been presented with a case study during an interview in the past, what kind of things were going on with the patient? Any suggestions on how I can prepare for this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi! Congrats on making it this far! Try to relax and remember the basics. You are a new grad and they know you're not going to be perfect. Obviously, they are looking for critical thinkers who can solve problems and reason why/what is going on with their patients. However, one of the biggest things we looked for in new grads is the ability to know when to ask for help from a charge RN or a more experienced RN. Good luck!
