I got the offer discussion email from St. Joseph Orange last week, I emailed their recruiter this week trying to coordinate a time to discuss the offer over the phone but she said they're still working on the offer letters. I'm not sure why it's taking so long ?

Does anyone know what the new grad base pay is?

Hi everyone, so I could really use some advice. I am a new grad nurse and I am extremely grateful to have 2 job offers at excellent, magnet-status hospitals in Southern California. My passion has always been working with women, children, and newborns. My first job offer is on postpartum, which I am super excited about and I have heard good things about their new grad program. The second job offer is on a floor similar to med surg, which I don't really like. However, they pay WAY more. I'm talking like $20/hr more than the first job offer. I also do not know how easy it would be for me to transfer to a different unit like L&D or PP at this hospital, especially as a new nurse like me. My heart is in maternity but I know that the pay is an important factor too. I was wondering which offer you think would be better given these circumstances? Thanks in advance for your input!

I am a new grad and I have an interview for a New Grad Residency program in a couple of weeks. The hospital sent me information about the interview and it says it will be a panel interview consisting of behavioral questions and a case study. I was wondering if anyone has insight on case study interview questions for a new grad position. If you have been presented with a case study during an interview in the past, what kind of things were going on with the patient? Any suggestions on how I can prepare for this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi! I heard they are having difficulties with the application link and are working on it. Only internal applicants have been able to access the application as far as I know. I would keep checking every day!

Yeah I haven't heard anything and I don't know if they send out offers all at once or separately. I'm hoping so too ?
